Imps Lose Grimes, Hunt & Howell
Injuries piling up The injury list is growing for the Imps with Hunt’s loan renegotiations with Notts County now academic and Ashley Grimes joining Facey in the forwards area of the treatment room. Add Howell gong off on 14 minutes and the Imps limped from their first ever trip to Stevenage Borough’s Broadhall Way. With Facey and Grimes out, Ben Hutchinson and Scott Spencer certainly have the perfect opportunity to stake a claim for new deals in the summer. But the omission of the favoured duo, which saved our Lincolnshire bacon, is a big worry even if we only have 5 points to go to safety. Howell limped off after just 13 minutes to be replaced by McCallum although no one is sure as too the exact nature of the injury. Hunt also limped off, replaced by Paul Green who will also be keen to prove he can still do a job for the Imps with contracts up for discussion at the end of the season.
