Imps loan star has high hopes
The 20-year-old, who has joined the Imps from Nottingham Forest, admits he watched on in amazement as City narrowly missed out promotion to League One in 2003 and 2007.
He told the Lincolnshire Echo: "When Lincoln were pushing for promotion, I used to watch them on the television all the time. For five seasons they reached the play-offs and I couldn't believe they couldn't make the final step.
"Every year they got so close but hopefully we can go one better. From what I've seen so far, I think we will be pushing for promotion because we are a keen, young and fit side."
