Imps hang onto Cottagers defender

Watts initially joined the Imps on a month's loan at the start of October but will now remain with the League Two club until January 2. However, the Fulham defender will not be allowed to play for Chris Sutton's side in the FA Cup. Lincoln have conceded just one goal during Watts' three appearances for the club. Meanwhile, Argentinian midfielder Torres is back at London Road following six appearances and one goal in City colours. His last outing came in the defeat at Northampton on Saturday. Peterborough have indicated they would be willing to allow Torres to return for a second spell but it appears unlikely that Imps boss Sutton will act on the invitation. "We are not a club with a lot of money so he is going back," he told BBC Radio Lincolnshire.
