Imps FA Cup clash set to be televised

City will receive in the region of £70,000 for the live broadcast from the Victoria Stadium on Saturday November 28.

Chairman Steff Wright has revealed that the extra money will be used to strengthen the playing squad.

He told BBC Radio Lincolnshire: "Any league club needs to get additional income to enable them to move forward. This will strengthen Chris Sutton's budget for the rest of the season."

Lincoln received £18,000 in prize money for their first round victory at Telford on Saturday and a further £27,000 goes to the winners of second round ties.
