Imps boss hails Kerr reaction

City's longest-serving player was surprisingly dropped from the starting line-up for the first time this season against Aldershot at the weekend. Kerr, who was joined on the bench by another regular starter Moses Swaibu, was replaced in midfield by Stefan Oakes, who was also given the armband. However, Kerr came on for the last nine minutes of the 1-0 victory and the 27-year-old impressed Sutton with his brief appearance. "My job is to put a team on the park which is capable of winning football matches. Scott Kerr came on late in the game and did exceptionally well," said Sutton. "He showed a really good attitude and I am really pleased with him."
