Heys: Duo going nowhere

Accrington chief executive Rob Heys insists Lincoln would be "wasting their time" if they continued trying to entice Stanley boss John Coleman to Sincil Bank. Coleman has been targeted by the Imps as a potential successor to Chris Sutton, who resigned as manager two weeks ago. Accrington have offered Coleman a new contract to keep him at the club until 2015 since Lincoln`s initial interest. Heys told the Lincolnshire Echo: "I think now we have the improved offer in, as far as we're concerned that is the end of it. "John and (assistant manager) Jimmy (Bell) have indicated to us that they are very happy here, so Lincoln would very much be wasting their time. "John is just having the contract checked with the LMA and they are due to come back to him shortly. It is a standard manager's contract so we don't expect any problems."
