Leading scorer Ashley Grimes could return to Lincoln`s starting line-up when Gillingham visit Sincil Bank. The 17-goal striker made his comeback from an ankle injury as a half-time substitute during the defeat to Torquay. He suffered no reaction and has trained all week. Midfielder Luke Howell could also return to the squad after a hamstring injury. However, the same problem will sideline Mustapha Carayol. The winger was forced off after only seven minutes at Plainmoor last weekend. Scans have revealed the injury is not as bad as initially feared and his absence could only be a couple of weeks. Defender Stephen Hunt remains sidelined with ankle ligament damage and striker Delroy Facey is out for the season after undergoing shoulder surgery.
