Green held up by injury problems

The right-back has been suffering from an ongoing groin injury for the last six months, and saw a specialist last Friday over concerns that the problem could be a deep-rooted hernia. But doctors were unable to determine an exact diagnosis, so the 22-year-old will now miss Saturday's final-day clash with Aldershot at Sincil Bank. Green told the Lincolnshire Echo: "I have to go back on May 5 to see another specialist because the doctor I saw could not tell me what the actual problem is. "They don't believe it is a hernia but obviously I need to know because all I am doing at the moment is resting and simple exercise bike work. "It's massively frustrating because I've been playing with the problem for some time and it has disrupted my season. Although it doesn't feel too sore at the minute, I just want the injury sorted so I can come back fitter and stronger next season."
