Keith Alexander left Lincoln to take over at London Road in May 2006, and despite being sacked as Posh boss just seven months later, the League Two club will be in line for the fee as part of the deal.[LNB]Fry told the Peterborough Evening Telegraph: "Lincoln received £5,000 for our promotion last season and the club will be delighted to pay them it again because it will mean we are a Championship club and that is what everyone here wants.[LNB]"The money is peanuts really and had this clause not been inserted we would have had to pay Lincoln a lot more money initially than we did.[LNB]"Keith had a great record at Lincoln and we obviously had to compensate them - this extra dough is a way of doing that. Even though Keith was not here long, he made some very good signings for this football club."[LNB][LNB]
