Forget The BBC Imps Its BBB - Bank Bounce Back

10 May 2011 07:18
We need to clear the decks at board level as well as the cast of thousands behind the scenes. Grimsby fans, Notts County fans and many disenchanted Imps are laughing at us and saying ‘told you so’. In some cases they are justified in others old rivalries will always blunt logic. Because the cast of thousands behind the scenes that follows ' a club of Championship proportions' relegation means a cull of titanic proportions.   Because gone is the telly its money and the Leagues cash for the youth. We continue at our peril with further ill advised pride before an inevitably even harder fall. Impdom faces an era of austerity, although that must not allow depression to set in. So polish your horns heads up and lets get that red and white Imp blood coursing through our veins.   Todays emergency board meeting is the first opportunity for the custodians at the heart of our crushed club.  Our head in the sand board finally have a chance to apologise (thanks for the usual plagiarism from the usual second hand source) but more importantly to lead by example for a change. We do not need sound bytes for once but decisive action.   From the heart of Impdom must come the BBB from the Blue and oblivion  – The Bank Bounce Back and it needs to start at the top and from the very heart of Impdom   Cut the dross and those underperforming on and off the pitch right here right now. A line in the Sand. 72 hours after Armageddon the rebuilding must begin.   And if you want to sell season tickets Bob, get rid of the previous regime - Steff Wright and the two woeful supporter representatives need to go for starters. Maybe someoneone could buy the second hand shares on a deal and use the spare cash to fund the club. Or should a ground sale come first?
