Facey back to lift Imps

Lincoln will be boosted by the return of Delroy Facey for the FA Cup visit of Hereford. Due to the recent freezing weather conditions, the second-round replay will be the first game the Imps have played since the original tie at Edgar Street on November 27. However, Facey has been getting some football having been away on international duty with Grenada in the Caribbean Cup. On-loan midfielder Luke Howell could also return to the squad after recovering from an ankle injury. Gavin Hoyte will continue at right-back after extending his loan from Arsenal while Jamie Clapham and Joe Anderson will battle it out for the left-back spot. However, Josh Gowling has gone back to Gillingham after his loan spell so Moses Swaibu is likely to replace him in defence. A pitch inspection will take place at Sincil Bank at 5pm on Monday evening. Should the tie go ahead, the winners will travel to Wycombe in the third round on January 8.
