Dorrian concerned with Imps image

Lincoln chairman Bob Dorrian has revealed his concern about the perception of his beloved club. The Imps chairman has become concerned about the psychological impact the current campaign is having on the public, with the club in danger of facing yet another relegation battle and he insists hauling the club out of the relegation zone is imperative to rebuilding trust. He told Thisislincolnshire: "The position we find ourselves in has certainly created an underlying disquiet, not just among the supporters, but the city's public in general. "When they see that we are at the wrong end of the table, of course I worry about the image that portrays because we want more people through the turnstiles. "To see more than 4,000 supporters turn up for a Tuesday night game against Northampton showed our capabilities, but again we managed to shoot ourselves in the foot. But the only way we can end the current concerns is by winning games because positive results are the only solution to our predicament. "And now with Steve Tilson at the helm, and a period of stability, I would hope that we would be in an equitable league position before Christmas."
