Defensive drills await poor Imps

The Imps boss admitted his side could not cope with Dagenham's aerial bombardment during the 1-1 draw at Sincil Bank, although they moved 11 points clear of the drop zone thanks to Davide Somma's second-half equaliser.[LNB]Sutton said: "We did not deal with their long throws or their corners as well as I would have liked.[LNB]"Defending set-pieces are a fundamental part of football and you have to deal with balls coming into the box and we didn't do it well enough.[LNB]"If we want to get better in the long-term, then this is something we need to address and I do feel we missed Ian Pearce's presence at the back. Positionally, Danny Hone and Moses Swaibu were decent, but it was just the aerial threat.[LNB]"We go to Torquay on Saturday and they have a long throw (strategy). If we are to get anything, then that is something we are going to have to work on."[LNB][LNB][LNB]
