The caretaker boss, in charge since Peter Jackson was sacked at the start of the month, will be replaced on Wednesday after City announced the appointment of former Norwich, Blackburn, Chelsea and Celtic striker Chris Sutton. Clark will have the same group of players to choose from as he looks to end his stint on a high following three straight league defeats. Defenders Paul Green (hip) and Joe Heath (hernia) and striker Paul Connor (knee) remain absent. Clark has options should he wish to make changes, with midfielder Stefan Oakes and forwards Jamie Clarke, Andy Hutchinson and Lenell John-Lewis are all pushing for places. Meanwhile, City right-back Cian Hughton has been named in the Republic of Ireland Under-21 squad for their forthcoming UEFA 2011 qualifiers against Georgia (October 9) and Switzerland (October 13) It means Hughton, whose father Chris represented Ireland at full international level, will miss the league game against Macclesfield on October 10.
