Bulls hit but Imps smelling of roses

Hereford now below Imps who drop to 19th after Bradford win   Some good news at last with Hereford United hit with a 3 point deduction for fielding an ineligible player against Torquay. The Gulls lost a point too for doing the same thing with both increbibly getting the same fine - £10,000 with £7,500 suspended until the end of the season. So says the word of the Football league in their infinite wisdom. Fair no a result for the Imps yes. Torquay striker Jake Robinson, on loan from Shrewsbury, was also not eligible to play in the February 1 fixture which the Bulls won 3-1 at Plainmoor. A disappointed Bulls chairman David Keyte told United's official website "I am very disappointed at the outcome, we will definitely be appealing the decision." Both sides have 28 days to appeal.
