Brush: It's good to talk

Lincoln`s new assistant boss Paul Brush has outlined the lack of communication at the club to be a concern. Brush arrived at the club as Steve Tilson`s right-hand man on Monday and has already watched the Imps reserves lose 4-1 to Walsall and overseen two training sessions. The 52-year-old former Leyton Orient boss believes that the atmosphere around the club is unusually quiet. He told the Lincolnshire Echo: "We have been really impressed with the group in training but we feel at the moment the training ground is like being in a dentist's waiting room. "They don't talk to each other to help each other at football. They are a good bunch of lads, there is banter in the dressing room and there is some encouragement after someone has done something on the field, but there are too many players who rely on one or two of the older heads to do all the talking. "We had some Boxercise sessions at the end of training and that meant the players had to encourage and talk to each other. They will get used to it, but it's how comfortable they are doing it on the pitch when the pressure is on. The players probably understand the game well enough but the need to transmit that is a huge factor."
