Barnsley were denied time and time again by Lincoln goalkeeper Rob Burch and as they threatened to completely overrun their League Two opponents but it was only after the introduction of Bogdanovic midway through the second half that the Reds finally broke the deadlock.[LNB]The striker made an immediate impact and should have scored after just three minutes on the pitch. He found himself with only Burch to beat but the keeper made an outstanding double save.[LNB]Bogdanovic's goal came in the 72nd minute after he harried Lincoln defender Janos Kovacs into a mistake. The Maltese striker was left with an easy chance and blasted his shot past Burch into the net.[LNB]Plucky Lincoln had chances of their own on the break.[LNB]New signing Rene Howe went close with a 20-yard effort which brought a diving save out of Luke Steele. Steele had to be at his best in the second half when he got down well to block a powerful shot from Jamie Clarke.[LNB][LNB]
