Big freeze strikes again

18 December 2010 12:00
Lincoln's match at Aldershot has been postponed due to a frozen pitch. The entire npower League Two programme has been decimated by the adverse weather conditions currently sweeping the country. Shots head groundsman Andy Nunn said: "It was always going to be a tough ask especially with the forecast during Saturday. "We came in at 7.15am and since then the snow has got heavier. I would like to thank all the volunteers on behalf of the football club who turned up in such bad conditions to give it a go." No new date has yet been set for the rearranged fixture.
