Baker doubtful for Darlo clash

The Aston Villa teenager had to be substituted at half-time during the Imps' home win over Chesterfield so his replacement on Boxing Day - Moses Swaibu - is on standby for a recall to the starting line-up.[LNB]Fans favourite Paul Green made his long-awaited return from hip surgery against the Spireites. It was his first appearance of the season so boss Chris Sutton must decide whether the right-back is able to cope with the rigours of playing two matches in three days.[LNB]A pitch inspection will take place at the Northern Echo Arena at 9.30am on Monday morning to decide whether the game can go ahead.[LNB]Meanwhile, Imps boss Chris Sutton spoke of his delight after his side tasted victory for the first time in 10 league games with their victory at Saltergate on Saturday.[LNB]Delroy Facey sent over the perfect cross for Cian Hughton to head in at the far post, before the provider got on the scoresheet himself with a looping header to put the Imps in control.[LNB]Scott Boden pulled a goal back with seven minutes left and Chesterfield could have drawn level had Jack Lester's late penalty not been blazed over the crossbar.[LNB]Sutton said: "It was a big win. We showed a lot of character and we beat a good side. Chesterfield are a threat going forward and get lots of goals.[LNB]"It was important we got a win under our belts. More importantly we deserved to win, although we had a stroke of luck at the end when they missed a penalty."[LNB][LNB]
