Anderson can make Mariners move - Tilson
Lincoln manager Steve Tilson insists Joe Anderson is free to join Grimsby on loan.
The 21-year-old full-back has been training with the Blue Square Bet Premier club this week.
"Joe has been training with Grimsby for two days and I am waiting to hear back from them," said Tilson.
"It is down to them now what happens with Joe but he is not playing at the moment and it is better for him to be playing football than sat here twiddling his thumbs."
Anderson is out of contract in the summer and has not featured for the first team since the 2-1 defeat at Northampton on January 3.
