A Son Of Newcastle & A Cockney Will Be Imps Heroes at Oxford

A son Of Newcastle and A cockney cherub will keep Lincoln City up.   With the need for a win paramount at Oxford United, Tilson must we looking to go 4-4-2 or put some creativity in a 4-5-1. The two men to give him that option and some steel are Keltie and Kilby. Newcastle born and bred, our ex Imp tales of fellow North East Lads Graver and Whittle would have resonated with the lads LCM feel will be the ones to step up when it counts. As for Portsmouth star Long Tom Kilbey,a cockney cherub and a half, well butter would not melt. Neither bleet or shy away- just what we need at a time when we need our heroes to stand up and be counted.   Keltie was an awesome player in his prime at Darlington, (I used to get fed up with the superlatives) and he is more than willing to get stuck in as Crewe proved. He has the eye for a pass, a great shot and that bloody minded North East never say die attitude.   As for Long Tom Kilbey,a cockney cherub well he has some weight on those expansive shoulders.  He takes no prisoners and hopefully he will be here next season when we stay up. The 6' 3" collosus will give either Keltie or perhaps even Fusini, who is here for 18 months the ability to play. Games are won and lost in midfield, something the last few management teams appear detemined to prove wrong; thus a creative player needs a midfield general. The closest the Imps have come to this was Scott Kerr.   Onwards and upwards - keep the faith Imps. Yes it will be close but LCM thinks we have a point too many for Northampton.     CLARK KELTIE DOB 31 Aug 1983 Age 27 POB Newcastle, England Height 6'1 Weight 12st 7lbs Team Lincoln City, Darlington, Rochdale & Non Lge Position Midfield   IMP STATS Competition Starts Goals Subs on Subs off Mins Pld Red  Yellow Football League  14 0 1 3 1235 0 4 JPT Cup 1 0 0 1 76 0 0  FA Cup 1 0 0 0 90 1 1 Total 16 0 1 4 1401 1 5
