Williams sells Orient to Chorley

Published: 18 Jun 2009 - 14:03:33

The south Londoner, who has spent the last two years with Tranmere, opted to return to the capital after being impressed with Williams' vision for the club. "There was a bit of interest in me and it seems as if I've spent most of the last few weeks on the phone, but the thing that really sold the club to me was the manager," said the 26-year-old defender. "It seems like a club on the up and everyone in the division noticed the improvement once the new manager came in halfway through last season. "He really sold the club to me and it's good to be coming back down to London too. I'm really looking forward to helping Leyton Orient push on next season."
