Williams opts to keep Church

Leyton Orient have persuaded Simon Church to remain on loan at Brisbane Road until the end of the season.

The 20-year-old Reading player joined the O's a month ago and has scored two goals in six starts during his time with the club.

O's boss Geraint Williams told the club's official website: "Simon's done very well during his time here.

"He didn't get the goals early on, but he was at the heart of the two penalties won for Scott (McGleish).

"He's now showing that, if the chances come along he'll take them, and I'm delighted for him."
