    Till back with Blues

    06 Nov 2006 - 15:05:17

Leyton Orient manager Martin Ling has opted not to extend Peter Till's loan spell at Brisbane Road and the 21-year-old has returned to Birmingham City.

Till spent one month with the O's and made five appearances for the League One strugglers, but picked up an injury in last week's Johnstone's Paint Trophy defeat to Bristol City.

"Peter did really well during his month here, but he's become a victim of our circumstances in the last week," Ling told the club's official website.

"With Shane Tudor coming back and Wayne Corden and Derek Duncan both available on the wings, we felt it was best for Peter to return to Birmingham.

"The news that Michael Simpson will be out for a lengthy period of time has also changed the emphasis of where we need loan signings and central midfield is the area we need to strengthen now."
