Thornton steps up O's return

Leyton Orient midfielder Sean Thornton will attempt to improve his match fitness by making an appearance for the club's reserve side.
The 24-year-old returned to first-team action in Saturday's FA Cup first round 1-1 draw with Bristol Rovers after serving a four-match suspension.
Thornton was handed the lengthy ban after picking up his second red card of the season in October's stormy clash at Leeds United.
The Irish midfielder was hit with a further one-match ban on top of the regular three-game suspension after he appeared to punch Leeds winger Seb Carole in a 1-1 draw at Elland Road.
