Leyton Orient midfielder Jason Demetriou has pledged his long-term future to the League One club by signing a new contract running until the summer of 2010.
The 20-year-old has scored six times in 54 appearances for the O's to date and has become a key member of Martin Ling's squad.
Ling told the club's official website: "We're delighted that Jason has signed a new long-term contract.
"He is going to be a big part of the future of this football club and he is already a very important member of the squad.
"Jason has really established himself in the team this year and he has hardly been out of the 16-man squad.
"We've done a lot of work on his physical conditioning in the last two years and we're reaping the rewards of that now."
