Leyton Orient have swooped to sign striker Adam Boyd following his release by League One rivals Luton Town.
The 25-year-old has agreed a two-year contract at Brisbane Road, after failing to make his mark during a single season with the Hatters.
O's boss Martin Ling told the club's official website: "I feel that Adam will be a great signing for this football club.
"He has a wonderful record in this division and, although he didn't have the best of times last season, that doesn't mean that there's not a quality player in there.
"There has been a change of regime at Luton and they felt it was best he moved on and I'm delighted that he's decided to join us."
Boyd made his name with Hartlepool United, scoring 60 goals in 169 appearances for his hometown club.
