Leyton Orient have continued their summer rebuilding programme by landing Cheltenham Town's John Melligan and Hereford United defender Tamika Mkandawire on free transfers.
Melligan, 25, has agreed terms on a three-year deal with the O's after rejecting the opportunity to extend his contract at Whaddon Road.
The former Wolves trainee made 53 appearances for the Robins last season and netted eight times.
"I had three good years at Cheltenham but it was time for a change and I'm excited by the potential of this club," he told Orient's official website.
Meanwhile, Mkandawire has agreed a three-year contract with the O's after turning down the option of a new deal with the League Two club.
"I've been tracking Tamika for over a year, and we had a £60,000 bid turned down for him last summer, so to get him on a free transfer is a real coup," admitted Orient boss Martin Ling.
