Leyton Orient boss Geraint Williams has persuaded the former Crystal Palace and Ipswich Town striker James Scowcroft to move to Brisbane Road on a one-year deal.
The 33-year-old is Williams' fifth summer signing after being released by the Eagles in May.
"We've been talking to James about a transfer here for a while and I'm really pleased to add him to our squad," the O's boss told the club's official website.
"He's a good player who scores goals and I feel he'll have a big part to play for us this season."
Meanwhile, Williams has decided not to offer trialists Matt Richards and Dominic Casciato permanent contracts with the club.
