    O's snare striker Gray

    16 Jul 2007 - 14:46:26

Leyton Orient manager Martin Ling has continued his busy summer of wheeling and dealing by bringing Yeovil Town striker Wayne Gray to Brisbane Road for an undisclosed five-figure fee.

The 26-year-old has penned a two-year deal with the O's after scoring 12 goals for Yeovil last term.

"He's a player I've been trying to bring to this football club all summer and he'll add pace and power to our front line," a delighted Ling told the club's official website.

"He was looking to come back to London so this move is ideal both for him and for us.

"Wayne's had an exceptional record over the last three years, scoring at a one-in-three ratio and winning two promotions, as well as helping Yeovil to the play-off final last year.

"So I'm happy to get this deal done - that takes the number of strikers here up to four and there will be one more coming in as well."
