O's receive triple injury lift

Leyton Orient have received a triple fitness boost after Tamika Mkandawire, Danny Granville and Dean Morgan all came through a reserve game unscathed on Tuesday evening.

Morgan scored twice and Mkandawire netted with a header as the O's went down 4-3 in a behind closed doors friendly against St Albans City.

The trio all played the full 90 minutes after being sidelined by groin, hernia and foot injuries respectively during recent weeks.

"It was good to see Tam, Danny and Dean all play for 90 minutes out there," manager Martin Ling told the club's official website.

"It was a useful workout for the lads and it was important for the three who are coming back from injury to get playing time."
