    McGleish enjoys crucial victory

    09 Mar 2009 - 13:23:38

Leyton Orient's on-loan striker Scott McGleish has hailed the 2-1 home win over Brighton & Hove Albion as a massive result in the bid to beat the drop.

The O's moved out of the bottom four in League One as a result of the victory, with McGleish believing that the three points could prove to be crucial.

He told the club's official website: "It was a big result for us.

"It puts four points between us and them and it means another team is playing catch-up now, so that's hugely important.

"Getting out of the relegation zone should be a boost for us and we just have to worry about our games.

"There are plenty of teams around us with games in hand, but they have to win them.

"If we keep producing as we have been doing, performance-wise, in the last few weeks, we'll win more games than we lose."
