Ling slams poor Orient

Furious Leyton Orient manager Martin Ling rounded on his players after they were dumped out of the FA Cup by League Two strugglers Torquay United on Tuesday evening.
Orient, currently 22nd in League One, were dumped out in a second round replay at Brisbane Road courtesy of two second-half goals from Torquay's Jordan Robertson.
"The first 45 minutes was the worst I've had in three-and-a-half years here," he told the club's official website.
"We didn't have any passing movements, they kept the ball and we ran around like headless chickens.
"It's frustrating because all we do in training is pass the ball, so it's extremely disappointing that we've been out passed by a Torquay team.
"We put in a performance on Saturday but we haven't followed that up. We've only put together back-to-back victories once this year and that needs to change."
Orient's miserable evening was compounded by a hamstring injury to Alton Thelwell which could sideline the defender for six weeks.
