Leyton Orient boss Martin Ling is delighted to see his new-look side having won three out of three this season.
A 1-0 home victory over Walsall put the O's top of the League One table at this early stage of the campaign and Ling is content to be in such a lofty position.
He told the club's official website: "It's been a great start to the season and we're delighted to get three wins out of three.
"I thought that this was the worst of the three performances so far.
"We didn't pass with much purpose, but we did grind it out and that's going to have to be the case in a number of games over the season.
"The league table is rammed down your throat every day and although it doesn't mean an awful lot at this stage, it is very nice to be top.
"It helps for the gelling and the togetherness of what is a new team, so it is a boost in those terms."
