Ling not sweet on Sheri

Leyton Orient boss Martin Ling has laughed off speculation claiming West Ham's veteran striker Teddy Sheringham is set to replace him as manager at Brisbane Road.
The 40-year-old, who is the oldest player in the Premiership, is still contracted to the Hammers, but that has not stopped reports claiming he will be offered the O's job following their poor start to life in League One.
However, Ling hit back and told the Epping Forest Guardian: "I did see the story about Teddy and I would have to say it seems nothing more than pure speculation to me.
"I know that he plays in a few of the chairman's poker tournaments, but I'm not sure if he is even considering a future in management let alone coming to Leyton Orient, either as a player as well which has also been rumoured."
