Jarvis tipped to shine

Leyton Orient defender Jason Demetriou has tipped Ryan Jarvis to produce the goods for the O's this campaign.

The 23-year-old Fakenham-born striker had a season to forget last term after he failed to score in 32 appearances, but has surprisingly figured so far this term.

But Demetriou is not shocked at his inclusion after seeing a vast improvement in training.

Speaking to Newham Recorder, he said: "We have got four good forwards and I'm sure that between them they will weigh in with 40 goals this season.

"You only have to watch the boys in training and they can really finish.

"He's like the Ryan Jarvis of old, who made a big impression when he came here on loan."
