Guttridge in at Orient

Southend United midfielder Luke Guttridge has joined Leyton Orient on a month's loan.

The 24-year-old former Torquay and Cambridge midfielder was rumoured to have fallen out with Shrimpers boss Steve Tilson and has been left out of the Championship club's last two games.

Guttridge also slipped down the pecking order at Roots Hall following the recent arrival of Preston midfielder Alan McCormack.

"Luke needs games at the moment and presently he isn't getting that here," Tilson told the club's official website.

"We'll see how things go and take a look at it again in January."
