Gaffer Geraint applauds 'great' Scott
Published : 04 Oct 2009 19:15:12

The 35-year-old marksman headed the only goal of the game against Wycombe from substitute Adrian Patulea's 77th-minute cross, earning Orient their first ever victory at Adams Park. Williams said: "Scotty is only about 5ft 9ins but he's great in the air and will always get you a goal - that's why I brought him to the club. "He was my first signing, he's a man's man and he's great in the dressing room. If you're in a battle you certainly want him with you rather than against you. "I think I look a bit younger than him but as long as he keeps performing like that and looks after himself he could play for a while longer yet." Williams continued: "That was one of our most complete performances for a long time."
