Duo make return for O's reserves
Skipper Purches played the full 90 minutes in the 1-1 draw against Brighton wearing a protective face mask after suffering a fractured cheekbone last month. And midfielder Chambers got a welcome 70 minutes under his belt after a recurrence of the calf injury which gave him so many problems last term. "Adam Chambers played 70 minutes, which was pleasing, and Stephen Purches also did well - he got more used to playing in the mask as the game went on," said assistant manager Kevin Nugent. Young midfielder Harry Baker was on target for the O's in the second half.
