Change of Fortune for O's

Leyton Orient boss Martin Ling has confirmed that Clayton Fortune can leave Brisbane Road on a free transfer.

The defender moved to Orient in the summer from Bristol City, but has struggled to break into the first team and was loaned back out to Port Vale last week.

"Clayton can leave on a free transfer. He knows that, and other clubs know that. He has not settled at the club," said Ling.

"He has not managed to reproduce the performances he managed for Port Vale last year and he is not the same player."

Meanwhile, O's striker Lee Steele is expected to make his loan move to Chester City into a permanent transfer in the January window.
