Williams hails Orient performance

Robert Snodgrass had already put Leeds in front in Tuesday night's League One clash at Brisbane Road before Jason Demetriou was sent off for handling Luciano Becchio's shot on the line. Snodgrass dispatched the penalty but goals from Sean Thornton and on-loan Reading striker Simon Church completed an unlikely fightback. The result extended Orient's good recent run to just one defeat in their last seven games under new boss Williams. "It was a real test of character because against a quality team like Leeds you can get run all over the place," said Williams. "Getting the first goal so quickly was important and then we kept believing and it was clear we didn't want to be beaten. "I'm absolutely delighted for our players that they didn't get beaten and it's a big point."
