The O's, who had not scored in their previous three games, were unable to find a breakthrough in the first half. But they finally found the net in the 63rd minute when Aaron Doran capitalised on defensive uncertainty and crossed for Thornton to slide home.[LNB]Thornton made it 2-0 nine minutes later following good work from Jonathan Tehoue and Scott McGleish on the right-hand side.[LNB]"It was a great result and overall a great team performance but the three points was the most important thing," said Thornton. "After Tuesday's defeat at Oldham the gaffer had a good chat after the game and on Thursday and Friday it was all about getting the team spirit and confidence back on in the training ground."[LNB]Manager Geraint Williams revealed he was about to replace Doran before the young midfielder played a part in the decisive opening goal.[LNB]"Yes, he was coming off but I decided to leave him on. It was a great managerial decision," Williams joked. "He had a shot blocked and Sean followed up to put it in. Sometimes these things go for you, sometimes they don't. This time it did."[LNB][LNB]
