Ed Sonko, Antony Kay and Andy Taylor all wasted good chances for Tranmere in the first half, before Orient goalkeeper Jamie Jones tipped over Sonko's fine drive after 43 minutes. The visitors rarely threatened, although Jason Demetriou's low drive forced a good save from Danny Coyne.[LNB]Williams said: "We came here looking for all three points, but the main thing is we took something from the game. It was an excellent point. Tranmere is a very hard place to come.[LNB]"We had to stand up and be counted and everyone came out with flying colours. I was delighted with the defensive shape. We have now got to go on and score goals to win games.[LNB]"It was very pleasing the way we dealt with pressure near the end. It's a good start for us. The attitude was fantastic and I'm delighted for everyone."[LNB][LNB][LNB]
