Slade to monitor Chambers
Leyton Orient boss Russell Slade is keeping his fingers crossed Adam Chambers' injury jinx has not struck again.
The former West Brom midfielder has suffered a string of calf injuries over the past 18 months and had to come off during the first half of Saturday's friendly defeat against Blackpool.
"Adam had a tight calf. We're hoping he's going to be okay," said Slade.
"I'm hoping he's going to get through it because he's been magnificent in pre-season and has not missed a day's training.
"As the games have kicked in it's probably got too tight for him. We took him off immediately so hopefully we've not caused too much damage."
