Slade happy with draw

Leyton Orient boss Russell Slade hailed his side's battling qualities after Scott McGleish earned them an FA Cup second round replay against Droylsden. The Os had trailed to the non-league Bloods thanks to Ciaran Kilheeney's first-half strike before McGleish spared their blushes and, despite being disappointed with his team's performance, Slade was pleased with the way they fought back. "It was a very difficult game for us, he said. "I thought it was going to get difficult as the night went on with the weather and the pitch. The conditions were a big leveller - we were putting them under pressure but struggling to keep our feet and get clean shots at goal. "But credit to them they played well and at half-time they deserved their lead. "I'm disappointed with the way we played - we are a better side than that but after the break they didn't have a lot and we deserved the equaliser. "We're coming back in games and we never die and we've got to continue to show that but I'm pleased we've got the replay to show for our efforts."
