Slade down after defeat

Orient manager Russell Slade conceded his side had been beaten by the better team after the 2-0 defeat at Dagenham. Romain Vincelot converted a header in each half as the Daggers won for the first time in League One and left Orient with one win from five matches. Slade said: "We didn't look anything like we're capable of being and showing and from that point of view it's really disappointing because you always want your team to be at their best and you want them to perform, particularly in a local derby game. "But we were not the best team. Fair play to Dagenham, they deserved the result. I don't feel like we did enough to win a football match. I'm just being totally honest. "It would be easy for me to stand here and say that went wrong, the other went wrong, but I still don't feel we deserved to win a football match. They were more energized because they were winning a local derby game and I'm sure if we'd have been 2-0 up we'd have been more energised." Top
