Slade calls for patience

Leyton Orient boss Russell Slade admits it could take time for his new-look squad to gel in League One. The Os kick off their latest campaign at Yeovil on Saturday with Slade having brought in no less than nine new players over the summer. "There will be times over the first 10 games particularly when we'll find it particularly difficult and we may become a little bit disjointed," Slade told the Guardian Series. "But I do feel this team will improve over the season. The signs are really good early doors and we can't ask for anything more. "It's important for the players to feel settled and to enjoy their football."
