Rovers win to move out of drop zone

Rovers made much of the early running but Marvin Sordell missed the target, while Gareth Edds saw his header saved.[LNB]But the home side struck in the 27th minute with Ian Thomas-Moore collecting a loose ball following a free-kick and netting from 20 yards.[LNB]The Merseysiders soon doubled their advantage when on-loan striker Sordell blasted home from the edge of the box when set up by Edds.[LNB]Orient introduced Jonathan Tehoue and James Scowcroft after the break, and later Loick Pires, and the trio showed a much greater appetite.[LNB]Substitute Tehoue did pull a goal back with an excellent shot after 86 minutes and it needed a fine save from Luke Daniels to deny Jason Demetriou an equaliser late on.[LNB][LNB]
