O's & Yeovil even in six-goal epic

22 August 2009 18:33
The O's went ahead with five minutes on the clock thanks to a fine header from Scott McGleish from Steven Purches' right-wing cross. But the home side were soon level from the penalty spot after Jon Obika was brought down by Ben Chorley in the penalty area and Gavin Tomlin made no mistake. And the Glovers were ahead five minutes before the break when Obika turned neatly to score after being teed up by Andy Welsh, but former Huish Park loanee Andros Townsend restored parity two minutes later when he weaved his way past three defenders to score from the edge of the box. Yeovil went back in front in the 52nd minute when Craig Alcock set up Danny Schofield to score, but substitute Jarvis made it 3-3 in the 61st minute with a close-range finish after good work on the left.
