O's denied as Rovers earn replay

It was the least Rovers deserved from a game they dominated almost throughout as Chris Shuker's second-half leveller cancelled out Luke Ashworth's early header.[LNB]With both sides residing at the wrong end of the League One table, Saturday's encounter provided a welcome distraction but it was Orient that settled first and took an early lead.[LNB]Sean Thornton whipped in an inviting corner and Ashworth rose highest to power home his header after just seven minutes.[LNB]Tranmere began the second period brightly and were rewarded in the 51st minute when Shuker found the target with a well struck effort.[LNB]It was nearly 2-1 moments later but Glenn Morris turned over a close-range effort by Craig Curran as Orient soaked up the pressure, meaning the tie will go to a replay at Brisbane Road next week.[LNB][LNB]
